Rapp Bomek AS is Norway’s largest manufacturer of advanced-technology fireproof and explosion-proof doors for the petroleum industry. With origins dating back to 1864, Rapp Bomek is one of Norway’s oldest companies within marine mechanical engineering. Since 1978 Rapp Bomek has delivered more than 10.000 doors to the offshore/onshore marked.
We have delivered our fire-tested doors to the majority of the platforms in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea and the international market has always been very important to us and now contributes to more than 40% of our total turnover. The rest of our turnover comes from offshore maintenance services, production of ship equipment and ship repair services in our shipyard.
